About the Role
We're seeking experienced Dairy Farm Managers and high-performing 2ICs ready to step up into a Farm Manager role on our pasture-based farms in Northwest Tasmania. You'll lead day-to-day farm operations, manage staff, and work closely with Operations Managers who provide ongoing support and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage farm operations in line with WHS, company policies, and animal welfare standards
* Oversee milking routines, staff training, and equipment maintenance
* Manage feed systems, pasture quality, irrigation, cropping, and forage conservation
* Maintain infrastructure, fencing, and equipment
* Lead, roster, and develop staff; manage contractors
* Complete reporting, record-keeping, budgeting, and compliance tasks
Skills & Experience Essential
* 3+ years' experience managing or assisting in management of a dairy farm (500+ cows)
* Strong herd management, animal husbandry, and calf rearing skills
* Experience in pasture-based farming systems
