Job Description
We're seeking a proactive and technically skilled Hybrid Test Analyst to join a dynamic project team working on cutting-edge solutions within the energy sector. This role requires a hands-on test professional who brings both technical capability and test strategy experience, with the confidence to own their work and deliver with minimal supervision.
You'll play a key role in quality assurance across our modern tech stack ranging from cloud infrastructure to APIs and microservices while also contributing to the design and execution of test plans, cases, and automation frameworks.
You will be performing end-to-end test planning, execution, and reporting, with a strong focus on collaboration across development, business, and stakeholder teams. Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. Proficient in API testing using Postman, as well as testing infrastructure and deployment workflows involving Terraform, Docker, AWS, and Snowflake. Strong experience in creating and maintaining automated tests, participating in Agile ceremonies, and driving continuous testing practices with a proactive, self-managed approach.
Qualifications
* Strong testing background with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing
* Proficiency with .NET and Node.js (or similar JavaScript-based environments)
* Experience working with NoSQL databases
* Demonstrated use of Postman for API testing
* Familiarity with Terraform and Docker for testing in containerized/cloud environments
* Solid understanding of AWS services, especially Snowflake integration and data testing
* Strong test automation experience—frameworks/tools of your choice are welcome
* Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD pipelines
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
* Experience in the power utilities and energy sector is a plus.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
