As a Maintenance / Handyperson at our Somerton Park Village, you'll play a hands-on role in keeping the village welcoming, safe and enjoyable for residents, making a visible difference every day. The role
Based at Somerton Park Village, this full-time role supports the day-to-day presentation and upkeep of the village's grounds and communal areas. You'll work across outdoor maintenance, cleaning and light handyman tasks, supporting the Village Manager and wider team to ensure the village looks and functions at its best.
What You'll Be Doing
* Maintain village grounds, gardens and pathways, including pruning, hedging and weeding
* Keep communal outdoor areas clean, tidy and well-presented
* Operate gardening and cleaning equipment, including pressure cleaners
* Complete scheduled grounds maintenance and general cleaning tasks
* Assist with minor maintenance jobs such as light replacements and basic fixes
* Support the Village Manager with ad-hoc maintenance and cleaning duties
What You'll Bring
* Experience in gardening, grounds or maintenance work
* Physically capable of hands-on outdoor work and operating equipment
* Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
* A friendly, respectful communication style when engaging with residents
* A current driver's licence and willingness to complete a Police Check
