About the Role
The Service Desk is the primary point of contact for IT support for Avant users within the Perth office. The role ensures that all queries, service disruptions (incidents), requests and problems relating to IT services are channelled, tracked and managed to a successful conclusion.
The Service Desk Analyst provides 1st and 2nd line technical support, the role requires an aptitude for working with IT systems (applications and infrastructure) while providing a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional customer service aligned to defined SLAs
* Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical troubleshooting and support
* Administer users in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments
* Support Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and associated applications
* Configure and support Avant-specific applications
* Provide desktop and hardware support (laptops, mobiles, tablets, peripherals Printer administration and troubleshooting
* Video conferencing support
* Support remote and interstate offices
* Promote and uphold IT security and compliance standards
* Accurately log, track and manage incidents via IT Service Management tools
Qualifications Required
* MCP or MCSA
* IT-related tertiary qualification
* ITIL Foundation certification
Skills And Experience Required
* Demonstrated experience in Level 1 Service Desk and Desktop Support within a corporate environment
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows desktop, environments, Mobile device management
* Experience using IT Service Management (ITSM) tools
* Exposure to software deployment technologies
* Experience in Citrix environments
* Exposure to SharePoint administration
* Service-driven with a strong customer-first mindset
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability
* Adaptable and capable of managing competing priorities
* Collaborative team player
* High attention to detail and commitment to security compliance
