Lifestyle Mobility Scooters is a medium sized family-owned Mobility Scooter business situated in Christies Beach SA.
We sell Mobility scooters both locally and Australia wide that are shipped from our warehouse in Christies Beach .
The role involves the assembly, testing and dispatch of Mobility scooters and dealing with any warranty or customer service issues that may arise.
We are looking for an effective Warehouse person to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of Mobility Scooter Products. This role would suit somebody with a background in mechanical/service repair who enjoys working with the elderly and vulnerable members of the community. It is a diverse hands-on role in a friendly environment.
You will need to be flexible and reliable and able to manage heavy items when required.
Responsibilities
* Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and dispatch.
* Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
* Liaise with suppliers and transport companies.
* Liaise with clients with any warranty and customer service enquires.
* Final assembly of product before shipment to clients.
* Ability to service and repair Mobility Scooters either onsite or at clients location.
Requirements and skills
* Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.
* Drivers licence - willingness to drive 1 tonne van or 3 tonne small truck when required.
* Current Valid Police Check or willingness to undergo.
* Expertise in warehouse procedures and best practices.
* Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
