About the role
This position supports the day-to-day delivery of Australian Red Cross's marketing and communication initiatives to help amplify our impact across communities. Reporting through to the Senior Manager – Marketing and Communication, this role will manage a fundraising portfolio and will be accountable for ensuring the team delivers strategic marketing and communication campaigns for both internal and external audiences.
Day to day you will
* Work closely with cross functional senior stakeholders to develop accurate Marketing and Communication briefs that clearly define budgets, deadlines and expectations.
* Ensure that the voice of our customers both internal (members, volunteers & staff + Board/Governance structures) and external (program beneficiaries, donors, government & industry experts) is heard, listened to and responded to respectfully throughout our campaigns and responses.
* Lead strategic discussions around the long-term revenue raising, and general awareness lifting of core advocacy and programmatic strategic approaches for ARC by championing creative and media innovation to get responses that go beyond just BAU.
* Create, forecast and maintain accurate project budgets and schedule.
* Effectively manage the use of financial resources and ensure that financial reconciliation and reporting is carried out accurately and in a timely manner across all activity.
* Take part in on call crisis management & on call management roster.
What you will bring
* Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
* Substantial experience in marketing and communication, with experience in planning, developing and implementing impactful fundraising campaigns.
* Demonstrated ability in presenting creative and innovative ideas, opportunities and delivering solutions both to internal and external audiences.
* Proven track record in project management, building relationships with key stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective campaign delivery.
* Experience in managing multiple, internal and external partners to deliver integrated campaigns that achieve market shifting results.
* Substantial brand/marketing and communications knowledge and experience.
