Responsibilities
* Apply documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
* Disassemble, inspect, clean and reassemble engines and/or engine components.
* Perform preventative maintenance based on assessment of engines.
* Assist more experienced technicians with diagnostics and development of repair plans for engines in the workshop.
* Complete required documentation such as work completed documents, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
* Complete training in line with skill and business requirements, maintain a clean and properly functioning work area and tools.
* Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation, and report any issues/incidents to the supervisor.
Qualifications
* Australian recognised trade certificate (heavy or light vehicle).
* Apprentice trained engine technician (preferred).
* Locally valid driving permit.
* Significant field service work experience.
* Expert level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.
* Additional: Licensing may be required for export controls or sanctions compliance.
