Job Description
The trustee for Kambah Inn unit trust Kambah Inn is a well-established hospitality venue located in the heart of Kambah, ACT. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, quality meals, and strong local community presence, we are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. Position: Chef Location: Kambah, ACT Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: AUD $76000 - $80000 ?? Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality dishes in line with the venue’s menu
* Assist in menu planning, development, and seasonal updates
* Ensure all food is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety regulations
* Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory
* Train and supervise kitchen staff as required
* Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service Requirements:
* Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery (Certificate III or higher preferred)
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
