Mental Health Professional - Children and Families

Our team of experienced Mental Health Professionals work collaboratively with parents and families to provide individualized therapy plans that cater to each child's unique needs. We believe in empowering parents with the skills and knowledge they need to support their child's emotional growth and development.
The role of a Mental Health Professional involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing support to children and adolescents presenting with a range of mental health concerns. This may include depression, anxiety, ASD, ADHD, emotional regulation difficulties, and trauma-related concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and adolescents to identify areas of strength and weakness
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to each child's unique needs
* Provide ongoing support and guidance to parents and caregivers to empower them with the skills and knowledge they need to support their child's emotional growth and development
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and support for children and adolescents

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualification in a specific discipline (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Early Childhood Development, Mental Health Nursing)
* Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., AHPRA, AASW, ACA, PACFA )
* Experience working with children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental conditions (e.g., ASD, ADHD) is highly desirable
* Strong clinical assessment, mental health interventions and case management skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams
