Job Description
Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation, administration, and support of the IT platform. You will be a key point of escalation for technical issues and will work within an ITIL framework to ensure that IT changes are controlled and do not adversely affect the business.
* Oversee the daily operation, administration, and support of the IT platform.
* Resolve technical issues and provide escalation support.
* Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders.
* Support a diverse customer base from both office and site-based locations.
* Collaborate with other teams within the IT group.
The Successful Applicant
* Experience in supporting and administering medium to large-scale IT environments (100-200+ servers, 1000+ end users).
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in:
o Microsoft Azure and PowerShell
o Windows Server
o Active Directory
o Virtualisation (VMWare)
o Office 365
o Data centre servers and storage
o Backup software (preferably Commvault)
o ITIL framework
