Forestry is seeking a passionate and capable individual to join our team as a Forest Ranger in Charge. In this vital role, you will implement forestry practices, policies, and procedures for the harvesting and marketing of forest products, while ensuring compliance with the Forestry Act 1959 and other legislation.
As a Forest Ranger in Charge, you will oversee cost-efficient, environmentally sound operational programs, supervise field harvesting activities, and lead sales programs for timber and other forest products across Queensland. Providing timely advice on marketing, operational issues, and stakeholder engagement, while ensuring workplace health and safety compliance, will be key responsibilities.
We are seeking individuals with a keen eye for detail, excellent time management, and strong problem-solving skills. Most importantly, we value a positive attitude and the ability to contribute meaningfully to our close-knit and supportive team. While relevant field experience is highly regarded, we also welcome applicants with a willingness to learn and grow into the role.

This role involves regular travel, remote bush camping, and 4WD operation. A manual 'C' class driver's license is mandatory.
