**The Role:**
In your volunteer role you will be paired with an aging senior to provide them regular social support visits in their home. Activities during your visit are based on yours and your clients' interests and could include conversation, playing the harmonica or guitar, listening to music or having a singalong. Get to know someone new and make a difference in your local community!
**Our Client:**
This male in his late 70's is seeking to get to know someone new and have some company. They would love to have a sing, play an instrument with you and talk about his time in a folk band. He likes a variety of music styles with Australian John Williamson a favourite of his. He always tunes his guitar before he plays (bonus points if you know how to) as well as playing the harmonica. He is looking for someone to have a coffee with while chatting about a variety of topics or having a jam session!

**About You:**
* Lives in and around Bellbrae or is happy to travel.
* Preferably a volunteer who is musical
* Possess clear communication skills.
* Compassionate, patient and an excellent listener.
* Passionate about giving back to your community.
* Conducts yourself with open-mindedness and respect, ensuring the privacy, confidentiality, and dignity of our clients is always maintained.
* Comfortable using technology to provide feedback and connect with the Volunteer Program.
* Availability for a flexible six-month commitment.
**Time Commitment:**
1 hour per week, Friday, Saturday or Sunday mornings or early afternoon between 9:00am - 1:00pm.
