Deliver high-quality maternal and infant care by providing comprehensive prenatal, delivery, and postnatal services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct routine assessments and monitor health status of expectant mothers and newborns
* Educate patients on pregnancy, childbirth, and infant care
* Assist in developing individual birth plans and preferences
* Implement evidence-based practices to ensure quality care and positive outcomes
Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
Participate in community outreach programs to promote maternal and infant health.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognized in Australia
* Current registration with AHPRA as a midwife
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Desired experience: minimum 3 years in midwifery practice, including labor and delivery settings.
