Sydney By Kayak are recruiting multiple Kayak Guides for the upcoming winter season (and beyond for those able to work longer than 6 months), plus opening applications for a Senior Kayak Guide Team Leader for someone ready for a longer term role.
We are a passionate, conservation focused team that delivers unforgettable experiences on Sydney Harbour. Our Sunrise Kayak and Coffee tours and Eco Tours are iconic, and we pride ourselves on exceptional service, warm hospitality and genuine care for our paddlers and the environment.

About the Roles
Kayak Guides (Multiple Positions)
You will guide paddlers on Sunrise Kayak and Coffee tours, and later morning tours, sharing stories about the harbour, assist with technique and confidence on the water, and help create wonderful memories for our paddlers. You will also help with set up, pack down and maintaining equipment.
Senior Kayak Guide Team Leader (One Position)
In addition to guiding, this role supports our guiding team with training, mentoring and seasonal planning, working alongside our management team at the Eco Hub to ensure a smooth operation. You will help uphold safety standards, make confident decisions on the water and be an important part of our leadership team. This role suits someone who is committed, reliable and excited to grow with us.

What We Are Looking For
* Minimum 1+ years of kayak guiding experience required
* Any recognised Flatwater Guide or Instructor qualification from an accredited body
* Current First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain
* Excellent communication and warm customer service
* Strong paddling skills and good fitness
* Comfortable working very early mornings, weekends and public holidays
* Passion for adventure, people and conservation
* Leadership or mentoring experience for the Senior role
* Australian work rights required for this position
