About the Role:

As a Principal Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise on complex geotechnical engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical expertise and advice on complex geotechnical engineering projects during different stages of the project lifecycle.
* Conduct site investigations and provide construction advisory and support.
* Review technical deliverables such as technical option reports, engineering principles and studies, detailed designs, and test procedures.
* Mentor and guide less experienced engineers to ensure the geotechnical engineering staff are appropriately trained to carry out their roles safely and efficiently.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor of Engineering or Science Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience in geotechnical engineering or geology. You will also need to have strong mining industry experience across advisory, study, design, and project delivery, including experience on NPI, rail, and civil infrastructure projects. Additionally, you will need to have exceptional technical knowledge, including in-depth technical understanding of the geotechnical engineering field, as well as the ability to interpret, analyse, and communicate information of a more complex nature.
