Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Territory Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with distributors and other channel partners (B2B) to drive sales growth within your allocated region.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
You will manage your allocated territory from the road and office, with support from our Sydney and Perth locations.
Sales Performance
* Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of existing key accounts within your territory.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
* Managing a territory call plan that is outcome-driven to align with our growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create strong partnerships to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
* Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline, and customer feedback.
* Maintain a thorough understanding of our products, services, and competitive landscape.
* Represent us at industry events and build a strong network within the sales community.
Requirements:
* Sales professional with account management and new business experience in a technical solutions sell ideally in industrial, safety, or equivalent industries.
* Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining long-term relationships with key accounts.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to identify and address customer needs.
* Proficient in using sales and customer relationship management (CRM) tools, as well as Excel to make informed data-driven plans and decisions.
