Nurse Unit Manager Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced nurse to join our team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager.

* The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of nurses in the Short Stay Suite, providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the unit.
* Key responsibilities include managing staff resources, implementing evidence-based practice, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.


About the Role

The Associate Nurse Unit Manager role is a key position within our organization, requiring strong leadership and clinical skills. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care, leading teams, and driving quality improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.

* Duties and Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of nurses in the Short Stay Suite, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
* Manage staff resources, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
* Implement evidence-based practice, ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes, including medical, nursing, and allied health staff.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Postgraduate qualifications or significant experience in a relevant area of nursing practice.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.

Other Information
