We’re currently recruiting for an Industrial Maintenance Electrician on behalf of a well-established manufacturer with a long-standing footprint in the Australian building and construction sector. With decades of consistent growth, this is a company known for stability, strong leadership, and investing in modern production systems.The RoleAs a Maintenance Electrician, you’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on keeping the plant running at full capacity.Key responsibilities include:Electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair of manufacturing machinery including extruders, mixers, conveyors, and automated systemsConducting scheduled preventative maintenance in line with CMMS schedules to reduce unplanned downtimeResponding promptly to breakdowns to minimise disruption to productionAssisting with installations, upgrades, and commissioning of new plant and equipmentWorking with PLC systems (troubleshooting and basic programming/modifications)Maintaining compliance with all safety standards and isolation proceduresCollaborating with mechanical fitters, operators, and production teams to identify recurring issues and suggest improvementsCompleting shift reports and maintenance records accurately and on timeRoster + Pay2 days on, 2 nights on, 4 days off12-hour shifts (includes $400 shift allowance per cycle)Approx. $113k base + super + overtimeWeekly pay includes:38 hours at standard time4 hours at double timeAll overtime above this paid at double timeWhat You’ll NeedQLD Electrical LicenceSolid experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenanceStrong fault-finding skills and an understanding of preventative maintenance practicesFlexibility to work rotating day/night shiftsWhy Apply?Stable, full-time role with a long-term employerGreat roster with built-in 4-day breaksModern, well-equipped facility#SCR-mathew-jannenga
