Allfield Residential Air Conditioning Services is a small, family-owned business that's growing fast. Like everyone else, we know good senior techs are hard to find — so instead of offering another "same old" role, we're offering something a bit different.
We're ready to build a dedicated Service Department from the ground up, and we're looking for a senior technician who'd like to be part of shaping it.
About the Role
This role is perfect for a senior technician who's ready to start easing off full-time road work, but isn't interested in being stuck behind a desk all day.
To start with, the role will be a mix of time on the tools and time in the office. You'll still be hands‑on, but you'll also help set up systems, improve workflows, and support the growth of our service side of the business.
A big part of the role will be mentoring and upskilling our existing technician and apprentice, sharing your experience and helping set the standard for how we do things.
As the business grows, the role can naturally move further off the tools — at a pace that suits you.
What You'll Be Doing
* Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing residential air conditioning systems
* Helping build and shape our service department
* Mentoring and supporting technicians and apprentices
* Assisting with quoting, job planning, and service scheduling
* Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer service
* Working closely with the director to support business growth

Requirements
* Full ARC Licence
* Strong background in residential servicing and fault finding
