Ten Recruitment is looking for a Mill Technician to join our long-term client on a full-time, permanent basis based in Hope Valley, WA. You will report to the Shift Team Leader and your focus will be to complete assigned mill operation activities and works accurately and efficiently, in accordance with quality standards, customer specifications and in compliance with company policies, procedures, directions and guidelines.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Undertake and complete assigned Mill Operation activities, delivering effective and accurate works in accordance with quality standards, customer specifications and schedule, in compliance with company policies, procedures, directions and guidelines
- **Bulk Out-Loading**: Undertake and complete activities including, initiating Chain of Responsibility and Feedsafe declarations, testing and reporting finish feed analysis, preparing retention sample(s), recording delivery data and monitoring truck loading
- **Press Operation**: Undertake and complete activities, including setting up press, testing and reporting on feed analysis process, preparing retention sample(s) and monitoring production through mill control systems
- **Batching**: Undertake and complete batching activities, including monitoring of batching process through monitoring systems, accurately preparing hand weighed raw materials, in alignment with specified requirements, and tipping had addition raw materials to feed batches
You will have:
- Advanced Feed Milling Qualification or equivalent (or progress towards)
- Valid WA driver's licence
- Australian work rights
- Food Processing Cert III/Diploma, relevant licences eg Forklift, Working at Heights and Confined Spaces are desirable
- Completed manual handling training is desirable
