About GoodMind
At GoodMind, we're transforming mental health care through innovative, evidence-based treatments in psychedelic-assisted therapy. You'll be joining a group of genuinely kind, caring people who support each other and our patients, creating a workplace where warmth and empathy are core to the work that we do.
We believe in a future where people who've struggled to find relief finally feel better, and we're building the clinic network to make that happen. Each patient journey is deeply personal and often life-changing. We often meet people at a moment of vulnerability, and our duty as a team is to guide them with care, compassion, and clarity.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse at GoodMind, you'll play a central role in supporting patients through their treatment journey with intranasal Esketamine (Spravato). Unlike high-acuity hospital settings, this is a calm, structured environment where you have time to provide attentive, patient-centred care.
Responsibilities include:
* Pre-treatment checks (vitals, patient readiness, consent confirmation)
* In-treatment monitoring (blood pressure, heart rate, mental state)
* Managing side effects (e.g. dissociation, nausea, dizziness)
* Patient support (reassurance, therapeutic presence during sessions)
* Documentation & reporting (treatment records, observations, escalation if needed)
* Collaboration (working with psychiatrists, clinic staff, pharmacists)
* Safety protocols (emergency preparedness, incident reporting)
About You
* Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration (PGY4+ required)
* Mental health experience desirable but not essential
* Strong clinical judgement, attention to detail, and calm under pressure
* Excellent communication and collaborative skills
* A commitment to patient safety, wellbeing, and continuous learning
Why Join Us?
* Be part of a cutting-edge model of care at the forefront of mental health treatmen
* Supportive multidisciplinary team with a strong focus on patient care
* Work in a less acute environment than frontline nursing, with meaningful patient outcomes
* Opportunities to grow with an innovative organisation expanding nationally
