Our client is a global leader in aluminium extrusion and operates a state-of-the-art extrusion plant located in Loganlea.
We are seeking 2 x experienced Shutdown Maintenance Fitters to support the factory shutdown period. This work is critical in ensuring the plant is fully prepared and operational for the new year. The role focuses on maintenance of rollers and conveyor systems within a high-performing industrial environment.

Rostered Work Dates
December: 18th to 23rd
January: 2nd to 4th
Please note: No work is rostered between 24 December 2024 and 1 January 2025 (inclusive).
Hourly Rate: $60 + superannuation (plus penalty rates)
Working Hours: 5:00am to 3:00pm (with possible overtime)

Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventative maintenance on rollers and conveyor systems
* Safely disassemble and reassemble machinery as required
* Identify, diagnose, and repair mechanical faults
* Ensure equipment is operational to meet production requirements for the new year

What We're Looking For
* Qualified Fitter with relevant trade background
* Proven maintenance experience (rollers/conveyors highly regarded)
* Own basic hand tools
* Strong safety focus
* Two recent, contactable referees
* Availability across the full shutdown period (excluding non-rostered dates)
