Transdev in San Francisco, CA is hiring a Dispatch Clerk to oversee road service through communication with operators and provide customer support to clients. We are seeking friendly, customer‐service oriented people who are dedicated to safety.
Pay
1. $22.25 - $23.00 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale)
2. Starting pay $22.25 with progression to $23.00 over 1 year.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, ensuring routes begin on time, monitoring incidents, etc.
* Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips, including no‐shows, cancellations and missed trips.
* Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators; act as liaison between the carrier and emergency services.
* Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service.
* Maintain a comprehensive understanding of policies and procedures.
* Meet or exceed established performance requirements.
* Document trip authorizations and details, including transportation type, pickup times, appointment times and addresses.
* Follow rules and regulations of the company; follow instructions of management and supervisors.
* Adhere to all regulations related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
* Maintain confidentiality of passengers' information.
* Maintain a clean and well‐organized work area.
* Other duties as required.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
* Computer literate.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to operate a standard telephone system.
* Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
* Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
* DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements
* Majority of work is accomplished indoors in an air‐conditioned or well‐ventilated facility.
* Majority of work is accomplished in an office or cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
* Employee is generally subjected to long periods of sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
* Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
