Hybrid work arrangements (WFH Canberra) PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: As a Program Secretariat, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the department's Product-based Operating Model program. You will report to the Program Manager and run the Program Management Office (PMO). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide secretariat support to the Program Manager and program governance forums, ensuring efficient decision-making. Provide support to Project Managers to ensure governance forums function effectively. Help prepare and manage executive papers, briefs, agendas, minutes, and action logs. Track and monitor risks, issues, decisions and actions to ensure they are followed through to completion. Collaborate with program personnel, committees, and other key stakeholders to gather information and address issues. Perform the HR function – administering the hiring (and termination) processes. Administer the record keeping function, ensuring all documentation and processes comply with relevant standards and policies. Support contracts, budgets and invoicing functions. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: A degree or certification in Public Administration, Program or Project Management, or a related field is highly desirable. Over ten years of experience in administrative or secretariat roles, preferably within government or large organizations.
