As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be working with young people in custody to guide them through their rehabilitation process.
This is a challenging role where you will play a vital part in maintaining a safe environment and supporting the young people's development of positive relationships with family and peers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure a secure and stable environment for staff and young people.
* Help young people establish healthy routines and adhere to daily structures.
* Redirect anti-social behaviour to community standards.
* Respond promptly to incidents as they occur.
* Support young people in developing positive relationships with family and peers.
* Facilitate support from other services, including health and mental health providers.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others. You will also need to have excellent communication skills and be able to provide clear guidance and support to young people.
The successful candidate will have experience working with young people in custody and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
