 
        
        Job Summary: 
To supervise the delivery of a new project to ensure the project is delivered to scope, quality, time and budget within the Business’ objectives for Safety, Security and Environmental standards 
Major Responsibilities: 
- Ensure that the work by contractors is undertaken in a manner that addresses and eliminates personnel and environmental hazards, and ensure that risk analysis, health risk assessments, and work method statements, where required, are in place. 
- Actively interface with the Program Engineering, Construction Interface, Work Health and Safety, Workplace and Sustainability, Community, Workplace Relations, Contract Management and other relevant teams to ensure Program delivery priorities are maintained. 
- Review all contractor submittals including construction schedules, costs, reports, changes and trends as required. 
- Review design documents, change orders, material requisitions and specifications for construction associated with the contractor’s scope of works. 
- Ensure that Contractor has an Building Control Permit or exemption in place prior to commencing the works. 
- Ensure that Contractor has a Consent approval in place prior to commencing the works. 
- Ensure that WHS permits and review/monitor relevant WHS permits are in place on site. 
- Attend construction and toolbox meetings. 
- Conduct and review safety audits. 
- Liaise, support and assist internal stakeholders regarding onsite project related activities and logistics. 
- Review and monitor traffic management on site. 
- Review quality control, monitor key construction risks and activities. 
Education and Experience Requirements: 
- Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience 
- Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision (RII40720) is highly recommended 
- Traffic Management and WHS Risk Management training are essential 
- White Card (Construction Induction Card) – mandatory for site access 
Required Knowledge and Skills: 
- 5+ years in civil construction, with 2+ years on major infrastructure projects 
- Proven ability to manage asphalt and concrete paving, earthworks, and drainage systems under strict standards 
- Experience coordinating with authorities, contractors, and engineering consultants
