Exciting new chance! Our client is seeking skilled Mechanical Fitters to join a brand-new, state-of-the-art workshop in Forrestdale, building high-quality agricultural machinery for Australian farmers.

What you’ll be doing
- Assembling and fitting mechanical components for large-scale agricultural machinery
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and build sheets
- Installing hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Fitting gearboxes, pumps, valves, and drive components
- Aligning shafts, bearings, and rotating assemblies
- Precision fitting, measuring, and torqueing to specification
- Assisting with final machine commissioning and quality checks
- Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical fit-up issues during builds
- Collaborating with fabrication, welding, and electrical teams to complete machine builds
What we’re looking for
- Mechanical fitting trade qualification (Certificate III or equivalent)
- Previous experience in machinery assembly (agricultural, construction, mining, or heavy equipment ideal)
- Ability to work from technical drawings and follow build processes
- Sound knowledge of hydraulics, drives, and mechanical systems
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Team player with strong problem-solving skills
