Role Description
This is a full-time role based in Gosford, NSW, for a Psychologist at Coastal Forensic Psychology. The Psychologist will be responsible for providing psychological assessments, therapy, and counseling to individuals across various age groups. Day-to-day tasks include conducting individual client sessions, designing intervention plans, preparing detailed assessment reports, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. This role also involves maintaining detailed client records and contributing to case discussions and supervision.
Qualifications
* Strong understanding and expertise in Psychology and Mental Health practices
* Knowledge and experience in Counseling and providing psychological interventions
* Proficiency in conducting Psychological Assessments and providing diagnostic evaluations
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and apply evidence-based practices
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective client relationships
* Relevant qualifications in Psychology and registration with the appropriate professional body (e.g., AHPRA)
* Prior experience in forensic or clinical psychology settings is advantageous
* Forensic Registrars are encouraged to apply
