Production Excellence Manager

The ideal candidate will lead production teams in a forward-thinking manner, ensuring plant policies and procedures are upheld, quality is maintained, and production standards are met.

About the Role

* Strategic Planning: Timely execution of production plans will meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
* Team Leadership: Lead team members to enhance performance/productivity and foster accountability.
* Budget Management: Drive strategic management, allocation, and financial reporting for optimal efficiency.
* Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to employees.
* Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and senior management.
* Process Optimisation: Analyse and streamline processes to enhance efficiency by reducing unplanned stops and wastage.
* Compliance Management: Ensure operations comply with industry regulations and standards.
* Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce waste.
* Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure quality and safety standards are met throughout the production process.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify problem-solving expertise by recommending possible solutions.

About You

The Production Excellence Manager will have a strong foundation in manufacturing, preferably in dairy manufacturing, with at least 5+ years in production management. They should possess technical expertise, including proficiency in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Lean Manufacturing methodologies, Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and other management systems.

Key Requirements

* A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, or Business Management (or equivalent industry experience).
