The Medical Imaging at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Trainee Radiographer to join their team on a casual basis.
This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future opportunities.

Your chance
The Trainee Radiographer role performs a range of clinical support activities and on the job skills development while engaged in formal full-time tertiary studies necessary to acquire the relevant entry level qualification (mandatory) for employment as a Health Practitioner in Queensland.
Students are employed casually to accommodate the commitments required by their studies while gaining pre-registration exposure to the workplace. Students contribute to Medical Imaging service delivery model within the Mackay Base Hospital under the delegation and practice supervision of a Radiographer in the provision of effective patient care.
About The Team
Our Medical Imaging Department delivers a range of services including, General Radiography (CR) and (DR), Computed Tomography (CT) (Dual Source), Ultrasound, Theatre II, Interventional Fluoroscopy, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
