**About the opportunity**:
As a member of the ANZ Commercial & Finance Team, you will be responsible for the timely preparation and analysis of financial and operational information for the ANZ Sales Entities. Insightful recommendations focused on driving business improvements that support the Detmold Group's sustainable sales growth and profitability objectives, ensuring efficient use of working capital & mitigation of potential risk will be a core focus of the role.
More specifically you will:

- Provide commercial leadership and support to the ANZ Sales teams and to encourage and provide feedback focusing on delivering sustainable, profitable growth
- Ensure that all internal reporting is diligently completed and delivered within timeframes provided
- Prepare commercial analysis and support the presentation of customer tenders
- Manage and successfully execute internal cost rolls and quarterly cost roll simulations
- Assist the sales teams to manage price Increases to customers from both a collective and individual perspective including the maintenance of a customer's pricing window register
- Partner with the Group IT and Enablement areas to automate data points required to understand and report end to end customer profitability, evaluating the output and highlighting performance against business targets and identifying cost improvement opportunities
- Partner with Sales and Group Supply Chain teams to provide stock forecast accuracy insights aimed at improving forecasting process and highlighting future areas of concern to allow sales teams to proactively manage stock aging profiles
- Review all Customer Contract/Supply Agreement
- Manage Customer Rebates, Settlement Discounts, and any potential disputes/claims
- Ensure that forecasting is substantiated with all known movements/drivers detailed in supporting documentation and calculations
- Have a strong focus and provide advice on freight and warehousing costs providing guidance to management targeting cost reductions through efficiency gains in our logistics chain
- Analyse the costs to serve of the sales entity highlighting deviations to budget and opportunities to reduce costs and deliver an improved, cost-effective alternative
- Report on sales performance, comparing actual data to projections and expectations, market performance and highlighting progress against key Group objectives
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts in line with Group policies and timelines
- Provide timely and accurate completion and submission of the internal control checklist
- Assist and comply with the requests of External Auditors in a timely manner
- Ensure that we are compliant with all Government and industry legislative requirements
- Embrace business simplification and to look for opportunities to remove/reduce internal complexities

**About you**:
To be considered for this pivotal role, you will have:

- A degree qualification in Business/Finance/Accounting
- A CA or CPA qualification
- Well-developed commercial acumen complimented with a strong negotiating and influencing skill set that see you partner effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Previous experience working with senior management in a business or commercial role
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with an ability to plan and schedule priorities and manage strict deadlines
- Sound knowledge and experience using MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Proven problem-solving ability and analytical skills coupled with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Resilience with a willingness to take initiative
- A strong desire to continuously improve the status quo and to reduce complexity
