We are seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join our Theatre Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with leadership, supporting high-quality surgical services in a regional healthcare setting. About the Role As an ANUM, you will provide proficient, person-centred perioperative nursing care while supporting the Nurse Unit Manager in the day-to-day leadership and coordination of the theatre service. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality care, while mentoring staff and contributing to a positive team culture. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality clinical care within the Theatre Department Provide shift leadership and support patient flow Assist the NUM with rostering, staffing and service coordination Support education, mentoring and supervision of staff and students Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice Assist with clinical governance, audits and service development Who We’re Looking For You are a confident clinician ready to step into a leadership role. You will bring: Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Minimum 3 years post-registration experience Experience in theatre, recovery or day surgery nursing Strong communication, problem solving and leadership skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to safe, patient-centred care Ready to step into a leadership role in perioperative care?
