About the Role
Are you passionate about safety, training, and driving meaningful operational improvements? TDG is seeking an experienced
HSEQ Adviser/Trainer
to play a key role in enhancing our safety performance, building workforce capability, and supporting our teams across business units and regions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated safety professional who enjoys working both in the field and in training rooms, partnering closely with operational leaders to deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable services.
Key Responsibilities
This is a field facing role, needing a hands on approach and someone who can help grow our team of leaders and workers as we go through a rapid expansion phase. The right person will also be able to support and guide the implementation of our HSEQ systems across the South Australian operations.
Key deliverables:
* Induction & In-field Coaching/Mentoring
* In-house training and education
* Verification of Competency (VOC) processes
* Assist managers to ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements and operational excellence
* Field Support and engagement with our Customer HSEQ teams
* Incident Management and Investigations
* Workers Compensation oversight
About You
You are energetic, positive with a can do approach. You like dynamic environments with a focus on flexibility and adaption. You can work independently.
Experience:
* Prior industry or related industry experience (highly desired)
* Experience in delivering training to workers in class-rooms, face to face and on job
* Return-to-work and claims management experience
Qualifications:
* Cert IV Trainer/Coordinator
* Cert IV WHS (or willingness to obtain within 18 months)
* RTW Coordinator (desired)
* Current driver's licence
