OverviewThe Company Based in the SE suburbs of Melbourne, our client is a market leader in sourcing, developing and delivering components to the OEM vehicle manufacturers in the global market.The Role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the finance department by executing a range of responsibilities, including transaction processing, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts payable processing, i.e. data entry of invoices, credit notes, adjustments, reconciliation and payments preparation and additional reporting as requiredAccounts receivable processing, i.e. collections, management of overdue balances, etcGeneral ledger data entryPetty cash and credit card reconciliation managementReconciliation, analysis and reporting of various expense and balance sheet accountsPreparation of draft financial statements for review by the Financial ControllerMaintaining and updating the finance filing system in an efficient and timely mannerAd hoc administration, incl.
filing, archiving, scanning, correspondence, report compilation and department support as requiredEnsuring confidentiality in handling all business transactionsCandidate ProfileYou possess outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a strong aptitude for problem solving.
You demonstrate solid analytical thinking and numerical proficiency, with the ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.Proficiency in MS Office Suite - a must.
Knowledge of Pronto/or similar accounting experience preferred.
