An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Site Manager to join a new prestigious high‑rise residential development on the northern Gold Coast, project is due to start in February.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead all site operations and create a driven, positive and professional working environment across subcontractors and site personnel.
You will be responsible for delivering a high‑quality internal and external finish, ensuring the project is completed safely, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a safe workplace by ensuring all OH&S systems, procedures, and processes are strictly implemented
* Lead and operate effectively in a fast‑paced construction environment
* Conduct regular toolbox talks and site meetings
* Minimise site extras and reduce material waste
* Ensure construction activities are delivered in line with the project program>
* Plan and schedule labour requirements to meet program demands
* Deliver apartments to company standards with zero defects at handover
* Approve and sign off variations and ensure correct purchase orders are issued
* Prepare and submit accurate site and progress reports to the Building Manager
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors
* Provide a high level of customer service and stakeholder engagement
To be successful in this role
You must have a minimum of 3–4 years’ experience in a Site Manager role working on high‑rise residential projects of 15 storeys or more.
You will be trade qualified or hold a tertiary qualification in Construction Management or Project Management.
You will also demonstrate strong building and OH&S knowledge, natural leadership ability, a collaborative and team‑oriented approach, exceptional organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple high‑priority tasks, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a solid work history supported by strong references.
