About the Role:
The role involves assisting clients with disabilities, focusing on skill development and enriching their lives through engaging activities. This may also involve in-home support, requiring flexibility with afternoon and night shifts.
About You:
* You are confident in building positive relationships and supporting unique client needs.
* You are resilient and self-assured, able to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
* You possess strong task prioritization and problem-solving skills.
* You are flexible, available for shift work, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
* You have proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
* You hold a valid Australian Driver's License, Working With Children Check, and NSW NDIS Workers Screening Check.
* You can pass a National Criminal History Check.
* You have experience working with high-needs Disability clients.
* Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent is desirable.
* Demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) processes is desirable.
* Handy craft skills, such as sewing, knitting, or crocheting, are desirable.
