OverviewJoin to apply for the Storeperson role at Queensland Police Service.The Storeperson will assist in the receipt, storage, issue and dispatch of inventory and other store to the Queensland Police Service and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services for the Supply Services.ResponsibilitiesProcess routine and priority requisitions/picking tickets, by accurately selecting correct items and quantities, package, prepare and maintain records as required.Receive, store consignments/deliveries from carriers utilising SAP Computer program.Process consignment details into transport's computerised consignment tracking system and prepare packaged goods for dispatch.Carry out stocktakes and spot checks of inventory as directed by Warehouse Supervisor/Senior Stores Person.Maintain and operate materials handling equipment, maintain warehouse environment in clean/tidy/safe condition, maintain pick bin stock levels and advise Senior Storeperson of any issues.Role RequirementsMandatory - Current Australia driver's licenceQualification - Current forklift licenceApplications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/659375/25Closing Date: Wednesday, 24th September 2025Occupational group: Logistics & Transport
