Job Summary
A collision repair technician is responsible for restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition. This involves inspecting damage, repairing and replacing damaged parts, and ensuring that all work meets high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect vehicle damage to determine extent of repairs needed
* Perform structural and body repairs, including welding and painting
* Replace or repair damaged parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors
* Use frame-straightening equipment to fix bent frames
* Operate various power tools and equipment
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in auto body repair and refinishing
* I-Car and OEM certifications preferred
* Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, stand, sit, walk, and reach
* Valid driver's license required
* Up-to-date compliance training and knowledge of information security
Work Environment
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with regular exposure to fumes, dirt, chemicals, hazards, heat, cold, and noise. Casual dress and a safe working environment are provided.
