Job Overview:
The Financial Counsellor will provide high-quality, trauma-informed financial counselling services to assist individuals and/or families in moving towards regaining financial independence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver trauma-informed financial counselling to individuals and families
* Provide one-on-one casework and consumer education
* Maintain accurate records of client progress
* Build networks with local organizations to promote financial counselling services
Qualifications:
* Accredited member of the Financial Counsellors' Association of NSW (FCAN)
* Diploma of Community Services (Financial Counselling) or equivalent qualification
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
