About the Role
As a Records Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that council records are managed, maintained, and stored in compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.
* Managing the capture, classification, and storage of records.
* Ensuring compliance with recordkeeping policies and legislative requirements.
* Processing and archiving physical and digital records.
* Assisting with audits and responding to information requests.
* Supporting the implementation of records management systems.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in records management or information governance.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Knowledge of records management systems and processes.
* Understanding of relevant legislation, including the Public Records Act.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
