**Your new role**:
As an Asset Manager you will be directly responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of all assets. You will implement asset management plans along with coordinating repairs and upgrades.
You will also be responsible for:
- Managing a small team of maintenance staff for minor repairs.
- Lead and coordinate activities of contractors as effectively and efficiently as possible.
- Prioritising workloads and those of others.
- Ensuring staff and residence are safe and appropriate protocol is followed from internal staff and contractors.
**What you'll need to succeed**:
To Excel in this role, it would be desirable that you have a construction background with experience and knowledge in infrastructure and asset management. You will have experience running small projects including maintenance works. You'll also need:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong time management experience with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Experience managing a small team
- Technology savvy with the ability to use in-house databases
- Current Driving Licence
- WWVP
- Current Vaccination compliance certificate
