Job Description
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to legal professionals specialising in workers compensation cases.
* Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents, correspondence, and other case-related materials.
* Manage and organise case files, ensuring all relevant information is accurately documented and easily accessible.
* Communicate effectively with clients, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information.
* Conduct legal research and assist in case analysis to contribute to the development of legal strategies.
* Coordinate with external parties, such as courts and opposing counsel, to facilitate case proceedings.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in ACT related to workers compensation.
The Successful Applicant
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in workers compensation or personal injury law.
* Law students who can work fulltime (with experience) whilst studying are encouraged to apply.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in legal research and document management.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
