Production & Sourcing Manager | Fast‐Growing Fashion Brand!
Our client is a fast‐growing, fashion‐forward brand delivering trend‐led womenswear to a global audience. Known for speed, quality, and strong brand elevation, our client partners closely with offshore suppliers to bring product to market quickly, responsibly, and at scale. With a focus on continuous improvement, sustainability, and operational excellence, the business is building best‐in‐class production and sourcing capability to support its next phase of growth.
The Production & Sourcing Manager is a senior, hands‐on role responsible for delivering product on time, on margin, and to specification across all suppliers. Owning the end‐to‐end production critical path, this role manages factory relationships, executes sourcing and fabric strategies, and ensures consistent quality and fit across categories. Working cross‐functionally with Buying, Design, Planning, and Logistics, the role plays a critical part in ensuring all styles are market‐ready while reducing returns, improving technical accuracy, and driving supplier accountability. The position also leads and develops the Production & Sustainability Lead and Garment Technologist, building scalable systems and a high‐performing technical function.
Responsibilities
* Own the full production lifecycle and critical path, ensuring all samples, approvals, QA, testing, and bulk deliveries align with launch timelines.
* Lead supplier performance and sourcing execution, including factory communication, costings, margin support, fabric platforming, and continuous improvement.
* Drive quality standards, fit consistency, and return‐rate reduction through data‐led insights, root‐cause analysis, and technical partnership.
* Lead and develop the production and technical team, building strong processes, documentation, and scalable systems to support business growth.
Role Requirements
* 5–8 years' experience in apparel production management, ideally within fast‐paced, multi‐category womenswear or DTC environments.
* Strong experience working with offshore factories (China and Vietnam essential; India or Mexico a bonus), with confidence managing timelines and negotiations.
* Excellent technical understanding of garment construction, tech packs, fit, and quality standards, paired with a commercial mindset.
* Highly organised, resilient, and solutions‐focused leader who thrives under pressure, takes ownership, and partners effectively across teams.
