We're hiring a Director of Privacy, reporting to the Senior Director of Privacy for Data Platform and AI/ML.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Privacy teammates, Trust Engineering, and Data Governance teams to design and implement technical solutions and controls for privacy requirementsAdvise data engineering and analytics teams on privacy considerations for customer data lifecycle and use, including AI and machine learningPartner with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership (including trust, compliance, and others) on customer privacy initiativesScale Atlassian's privacy program by identifying and developing strategies for privacy engineering and privacy-enhancing technologiesQualificationsMinimum QualificationsNecessary qualifications to practice law in your local jurisdiction6+ years practicing lawDeep knowledge of global privacy regulations and frameworks (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, etc.)Experience partnering with business stakeholders and legal teammates to advise on privacy engineering and technical implementation of privacy controlsExperience distilling complex legal and technical concepts for leadership audiencesPreferred QualificationsCIPP/E, CIPP/US, and/or AIGP Certification3+ years of in-house experience3+ years of law firm experienceKnowledge of AI-related laws, regulations, and frameworksExperience developing and implementing strategies for privacy-enhancing technologiesBenefits And PerksAtlassian offers a wide range of perks and benefits designed to support you, your family and to help you engage with your local community.
