Executive Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Executive Support Specialist to provide exceptional support to our senior leadership team.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Provide high-level administrative support to the Member of Parliament, including diary management and travel arrangements;
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the office by applying the highest standards of personal integrity and confidentiality;
* Establish and maintain strong working relationships with constituents, community groups, and local stakeholders;
* Monitor, assess, and prioritize a high volume of incoming papers, emails, telephone, and in-person inquiries;
* Draft, proof-read, and edit briefs, memorandums, and general correspondence accurately and promptly;
* Research, plan, and develop documents such as agendas, minutes, and correspondence;
* Manage the office budget and the sitting Member's expenses;
* Organize and execute community events;
The ideal candidate will have a track record of collaboration with different business units and diverse stakeholders across a complex organization.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and several years of experience in executive support or a related field are required.

* Strong technical proficiency with the Microsoft suite and the ability to use a range of technological and social media platforms;
* Experience meticulously crafting and managing budgets and expense accounts;
Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary range of $74,095 - $86,506 per annum, plus additional optional allowances for reasonable additional hours of work and travel requirements.
Relocation assistance, studies assistance, and paid study leave may also be available subject to eligibility requirements.

The position is offered under the Members of Parliament (Staff) Act 1984 and conditions are outlined in the Commonwealth Members of Parliament Staff Enterprise Agreement 2024-27.
