We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Officer to join our team in Rockhampton, Queensland. This is a part-time position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide timely and accurate assistance to end-users within the desktop computing environment.
* Troubleshoot computer OS/peripherals, handle different PC operating systems (Windows 7/8 and 10), perform hardware/software installation, and support printers.
* Install and troubleshoot MS Office tools and possess excellent customer service and people skills.
Requirements
* Good knowledge of infrastructure support and well-organized and highly detail-oriented.
* Strong customer service ethic and great communication skills, both oral and written.
* In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, PC Laptop hardware, and PC Laptop peripherals, including printers.
Candidates with at least two of the following IT qualifications are preferred: PC Laptop OEM Maintenance Certification, CompTIA A+ Certification, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area, or Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification.
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred but freshers and IT students are also welcome.
