* Remuneration: $138,193 to $156,633 pa (HEW8) (inclusive of $116,774 to $132,357 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
* Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Project Manager, Operations to join Industry Engagement, International and Business Development, Chancellery Division.

The Project Manager, Operations plays a key role in supporting QUT's industry engagement and commercialisation activities within the International & Business Development Portfolio. This position oversees essential operational functions including commercialisation and IP management, budget and revenue coordination, HR processes, investment portfolio valuation, and system administration across key QUT supported digital platforms. Working within the Office of Industry Engagement, the role provides high level governance, reporting, data administration, and committee secretariat support, contributing to the effectiveness and integrity of commercialisation and partnership activities. This role is ideal for a highly organised professional with strong analytical, digital literacy, and stakeholder engagement skills who thrives in a dynamic, service oriented environment. The successful candidate will support research partnerships and commercialisation teams, drive continuous improvement of business processes and systems, and contribute to the governance of QUT's commercial operations.

The financial, legal, assurance and audit functions also sit within the Chancellery Division. The Chancellery Division is led by the Vice-Chancellor.

The International and Business Development Portfolio leads the University's international outreach, industry engagement and philanthropic fundraising. Led by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor International and Vice-President Business Development, the following areas fall within the portfolio's responsibility:

What You Need To Succeed
* Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to a degree level qualification with at least 4 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
* Proven strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and implement practical, and innovative solutions working in a busy service-oriented environment.
* Highly developed digital literacy skills in order to oversee electronic records management systems and specialised databases, to implement innovative IT solutions to improve business processes, and to develop complex reports and excel spreadsheets.
* Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and proven ability to prepare a range of clear and concise documents and reports.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills including ability to connect and collaborate with a diverse range of people at all levels in a professional manner, often under pressure, while maintaining good stakeholder relationships with appropriate confidentiality.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment as part of a high performing team providing excellence in service provision.
