Job Title: Administration Officer
The role of the Administration Officer plays a vital part in supporting the Radiation Oncology New Patient Team. This position is accountable for managing incoming referrals, registering new patients, coordinating and scheduling appointments, as well as assisting the broader team to deliver efficient and high-quality services.
* Show flexibility and a commitment to various tasks and roles to allow effective rostering of the administration team and meet the administration service needs of the department.
* The Administration Officer takes pride and ownership for the quality of work they perform and are responsible for at all times.
* Provide cover and be rostered to other administration roles to support planned and unplanned leave as required.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated competence in administrative skills and general office procedures.
* Excellent customer service skills and experience.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Computer and general literacy with accurate keyboard and data entry skills.
* Ability to work proficiently in periods of high demand and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
* Ability to work unsupervised with excellent time management skills.
* Discretion and confidentiality in respect of hospital matters for patients and staff.
