About Our Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Prosthetic and Orthotic Technician to support our growing Allied Health programs.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality technical expertise in preparing, setting up and maintaining tools, equipment and materials for practical classes.
* Technical Support: Prepare, set up and maintain tools, equipment and materials for practical classes.
* Liaison with Academic Staff: Liaise with academic staff to plan and support teaching activities across Allied Health disciplines.
* Safety Training: Deliver inductions and safety training ensuring Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and risk management requirements.
* Maintenance and Procurement: Coordinate maintenance, servicing and procurement of specialised equipment and consumables.

Your Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* A relevant degree or a combination of education, training and experience.
* Experience providing technical or practical support in an educational environment.
* Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance with sound understanding of WHS requirements.
* Strong organisational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
* A current Class 'C' driver's licence.
