Introduction:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our operations adhere to all relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies, with a strong focus on food safety. This role requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement. FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) experience with similar compliance responsibilities and qualifications is essential.
Description:
Key Responsibilities
Food Safety Compliance:
Maintain food safety management plan
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to food safety regulations and company standards.
Provide training to staff in accordance with the food safety plan.
Onboarding New Staff:
Integrate compliance training into the new staff onboarding at site
Ensure all new employees understand and adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements
Certificate & Licence Compliance:
Monitor and track all necessary company and individual staff certificates and licences.
Ensure timely renewal of all licences and certifications to maintain operational compliance
Identifying Continual Improvement:
Proactively identify areas for improvement that assists in achieving efficiencies
Skills and Experiences:
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or relevant background.
Relevant qualifications in food safety or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
